someone how to use Elements if the only experience I have is with full version of photoshop? Are they similar enough that my knowledge will be helpful?

don't think that would be any problem.
I'm an 'instructor' in a monthly meeting for the 55+.who seek help with about anything with pc's. Alltough the majority seek help in rather easy things (reading, sending mail and such) There are few who work with photoshop Elements, and I'm 'teaching' them too, alltough I've never used Elements, I just do it with my knowledge in photoshop.

Basically Elements is just a trimmed down version of photoshop. Only downside in teaching it is that you have to realize that some things just can't be done with Elements, and certainly not in the way you would do with PS.

Thats the only problem i can see you having mate, without knowing what can and cant be done i guess it may be a bit hard.

Ive used elements and dont think you will have a problem.. Pretty similar.
