I completely agree. Mods should have it out and decide what's going on before ever mentioning that there may be a tournament. Once all the details are ironed out, THEN make an announcement that it's going to happen.

I've taken myself out of the running for the tourney because I thought it was going to be 2 days to chop 2 days to vote like it was last year. If it's 4 days to chop and 2 days to vote, then I would have probably had enough time to participate.

I can't believe how much time an energy I've wasted over the last few weeks, chasing up every H2H thread trying to find out when the damn thing is going to happen. I'm nearly burnt out before it starts. If it doesn't get sorted soon, I'll be pulling the pin.

What's this "if" crap? Oops wrong thread. Wink

Very Happy

Hey if this is anything like your round 2 of last year, I think I'll stand a fairly good chance Smile

Several people have been kind enough to remind me of how time zones work. Laughing

Back on topic:

I'm doing the H2H to the best of my abilities. If that means I have to do a chop every two days then so be it.

The H2H is like sex. If it's long and drawn out I like it. If it's quick and often I like that too. Twisted Evil

I am for as fast as possible, 1 chop day, 1 vote day is cool with me, 2 rounds a week hardcore all the way Very Happy

monday chop, tuesday vote, rest wednesday, thursday chop, friday vote weekend rest days.

of course this may and will not work for everyone, but neither does the running way into summer option, this was first talked about in february properly. I realise that Emmanuel wasn't told about any of this. Thats fine, but over 3 months to get this kicking off.... like 202 says, could be seeing a vast number of no shows throughout the rounds Confused

carry on

Why do we need a break after voting? Wouldn't the voting day(s) be a break from chopping already? And do we need more than a day or so to vote? To help those choppers with weekday/weekend issues, how about 4 days to chop, 1 day to vote, 4 days to chop, 1 day to vote... etc. 7 rounds x 5 days each = 35 days (5 weeks) for the entire tournament. Smile

I could go for longer chop times. I don't have much time on the week days.

Wed, Thurs, Friday - Voting

Even if that makes the tourney start during week-end, I must agree. This is perfect. 4 days to chop, 3 day to vote. 1 round per week.

Wait... I'm not even in that tourney. Do I care?
Cool

agree with this. Should work best for everyone then. Wink

The h2h this year reminds me of a public health announcement (about sexual relationships) at my place
Quote:
first blahblah, then boomboom
i feel we've talked enough and too much allready. I want sex damned!!

The rules were clear at signup for time limits. Not happy with it, tough luck. Get this thing started, and do it the way like it was done before. If you wish you can change duration in the last 3 rounds if all remaining contestans agree. But for now leave it like it is and START THE H2H.

I have spoken and shall say no more.
