I think things went down hill after Reinmans visit to NGSP. I think we should blame him for doing all of this to poor NGSP. The visit probably put you under the police microscope for your bad international acquaintances coming across the border to reak havoc on the USA, and in this case he succeeded.

If nothing else learn from this and never let it happen again. It can't be erased but maybe think of it as a chance to start in a new direction and who knows what may lie ahead.
In your case volunteer at the Humane society and meet people there who come from other areas of society who share at least one passion, working with and saving the animals.
Look towards the future, because backwards is gloomy and depressing and can't be changed.
