Bow

I'd love to see the before/afters from the hair salon ads to see how you did the stitches.

Love the many hands effect in the AIDS spots.

Hey! Did you guys know that Claf is a retired major general? Shocked Laughing

Quote:
Major General (ret'd) LaFrance joined the RCAF in 1947, saw air combat service as an exchange fighter pilot with the USAF in Korea and was awarded the US Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal. During his military career, he held several senior appointments including: command of 433 Escadrille Tactique de Combat, command of Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg, Director General of Plans and Policy at NDHQ, command of 10 Tactical Air Group and Chief of Plans, Policy and programs at NORAD HQ, as a Major General. He retired from the Canadian Forces in 1981.

Great stuff Claf, did you made the photos AND did the Photoshop work on all photos? What camera did you use?

The hockey players and the bike are very nice, hm and the concept of the HIV ads are great!

Thanks DV! Smile

I only made the Photoshop work. I have the chance to work regularly with some of the best photographers in town, who work with some creative art directors. It is a team work.

C'est toi qui a fait celle du Lait!? Haha! Je me souviens avoir été en train de prendre une bière avec une partie de l'équipe de BBDO qui se demandait si elle n'était pas trop sombre... Et tu étais la cause de leur soucis. Cool

Merci Alex! Smile

I will translate... Alex said he remember the day he was taking a beer with friends from the advertising agency (BBDO) who made the production of whole campaign... and they wondered if the image was too dark.

In my opinion, the posters needed different adjustments depending of the applications. In magazines or luminous posters (like in subway stations), it was perfect.

I made 3 images for that campaign.
Another Photoshop artist made a 4th visual.
The bad thing is that I saw once on the web that this guy had all the credit for the 4 images.
Those things happen sometimes...
Sad

Thanks Tofu! Smile

The "before/after" file...
http://www.box.net/shared/2vlpe152li

A guy (I think they call him a "maquettiste" (I don't know how to call it in English)) made the stitches on a piece of pork or veal... Laughing Laughing
It was very helpful, very easy to integrate.
I don't have anymore the very original picture but just the preparation of the stitches I made before the integration... you can see part of the original piece of meat in the back... Laughing

A close-up...

Also the "before/after" of the "Olympic Glasses"...
It wasn't only a clean-up but the need was to make the Olympic logo easier to see than the glasses...

Would love to see the layers on the Motorcycle. Very Happy
How did you go about completely changing the light direction. Multiple shots??

Yes ReyRey! Multiple shots with different light settings... I think between 5 and 10 different pictures were used.
Here we go...
